Glamping pods were once an esoteric choice for those people who fancied a bit of old-fashioned camping but didn’t fancy roughing it. A half-way house between back to nature and the lap of luxury.

These days, glamping pods are seen as a brilliant way to enjoy a relaxed, comfortable holiday close to nature but with a degree of comfort. For someone considering setting up a holiday business, they’re a cost and space effective alternative to some of the other options. If you’re a property owner, already run a holiday let business or are considering starting one, then the growing visitor demand for glamping pod holidays should mean you have a ready-made customer base.

Fully insulated and finished to the highest standards, our glamping pods ensure your guests have a comfortable stay whatever the time of year.

Glamping pods are a cost-effective solution

If you’re thinking of starting a holiday business, glamping pods offer a cost-effective and speedy way to get started.

As with anything, the cost of buying and installing a glamping pod can range widely depending on materials, the site, and the specification of the glamping pod itself. Glamping pods from Garden Room Sanctuary begin at £7495.00 plus VAT. Compare that to the cost of building self-catering units and you will see what a valuable proposition this represents.

 Glamping pod installation process

Glamping pods are hand-made to order, using locally sourced, high-quality materials. They’re made by skilled craftsmen, with their durability guaranteeing their longevity. They are then delivered and installed anywhere in the UK. The installation process is straightforward, as they arrive ready constructed before being lifted into place on site. All that’s required by the site owner is to make sure that the ground is level and ready for their delivery. Once they’ve been delivered, they can, if necessary, be relocated to a new site.

Electrics and plumbing

As glamping pods come complete with washrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes and electric heating, the electricity and plumbing will need to be in place on site prior to the installation.

Low maintenance

Once glamping pods are installed, they require very little in the way of ongoing maintenance. The exterior cladding is protected with outdoor Danish oil and further recoats should be added every couple of years, or sooner if the site is particularly exposed. As maintenance tasks go it’s a fairly straightforward one, particularly when compared to the ongoing costs of maintaining other types of holiday let.
