Here are some answers to the most popular questions, including delivery, utilities, permits and guarantee on our range of Glamping Pods.

Do glamping pods require planning permission?

That depends on how many pods you have, where they are located and how you intend to use them. A single glamping pod installed in a garden as an addition to the house is exempt from requiring planning permission as long as they block neither light nor access from neighbouring properties. Multiple pods and pods that will be made available as a holiday let will usually require planning permission. Our sales team will be able to advise which category your project falls into.
p

Are glamping pods easy to install?

Our glamping pods are hand-made to order using only the highest quality, locally sourced materials and the most skilled craftsmen to ensure our pods have excellent durability and longevity. We deliver and install glamping pods all over the UK. The actual installation of our glamping pods into their permanent site really couldn’t be simpler. After being built in house, they are then transported to their permanent site and lifted into place.

How many people can a glamping pod accommodate?

Our two different styles of pod, The Whernside Pod and The Pen-Y-Ghent Pod are each available in two different sizes. The standard pod measures 4m x 2.8m and sleeps 2-4 people. The larger deluxe pod measures 6m x 3.2m and sleeps 4-6 people.

What about an electrical connection, heating and plumbing?

Our standard size glamping pods include a small washroom with a toilet and sink. The deluxe pods are equipped with an en-suite shower room and kitchenette. They both include LED lighting and an electric panel heater. Plumbing and electrical mains connection will need to be in place on site prior to installation and our professional sales team will be able to advise.

In addition, individual items such as shower units or other installed items carry their own individual guarantees and warranty.
